As you may have heard, Microsoft and Continia are announcing price adjustments from October 2023 and January 2024.

Microsoft's subscription changes regarding Dynamics NAV and Business Central:

Microsoft has announced changes starting October 1, 2023 regarding licensing and pricing. The mentioned changes below are only relevant if you have your own or hosted server (On-Prem solution). Cloud customers licensing and pricing are currently unchanged.

• If you have (and pay) an annual subscription regarding your Dynamics NAV/Business Central license, this will increase from the current 17% to the coming 18% for annual charges after October 1, 2023.
• Regarding purchased user licenses for Dynamics NAV/Business Central, these will increase 11%
• Rented user licenses (subscription) will increase 10% if you have Business Central and 14% for Dynamics NAV solutions.

Continia's subscription changes from January 1, 2024

With a cloud solution and Continia Apps for Business Central Online, you will experience following changes:

• All Apps will be subject to a general price adjustment. Expense Management customers with a large number of Expense Users and Document Output customers with many transactions can expect a price reduction.

With an On-Premises solution (on own/hosted server), the changes are listed below:

For those of you with an on-prem purchase license:

• The Enhancement Plan increases from 16% to 18% of the license price for both new and renewed subscriptions. Next year's (normal) indexation (around 5%) will not be charged in 2024, and you will therefore experience a change in the annual subscription in 2024.
• New customers will experience a general price increase when purchasing new Continia products (licenses). Therefore, it may be a good idea to buy a license already now - and before December 31st.

 For those of you with a rental license (monthly subscription) on-premises:  

• The new monthly subscription (rent) will increase from January 2024. For existing customers, the change will occur 6 months before license renewal, as a rental license is charged 6 months in advance.

VisionPeople's add-on solutions for Business Central and Dynamics NAV:

The annual subscription to existing add-on solutions from VisionPeople follows the subscription rate from Microsoft, and subscription extensions in 2024 will be calculated at 18% of the license price.
